Itinerary
Day 1 begins with a pick-up from Nairobi, followed by a drive via Nyeri to the park headquarters for registration. The journey continues with a game drive toward Muiga for lunch, then onward to Shamata Gate and finally the road head. From here, a hike leads to Dragon Tooth, where you’ll have dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by stunning alpine scenery.
Starts with an early breakfast and panoramic views before attempting the summit of Ole Satima (4,001m), typically reached within 3–4 hours. After taking in the scenery and capturing photos, descend through the diverse Aberdare landscape, rich in unique flora and fauna. A picnic lunch is enjoyed along the way, followed by pick-up at Ngorila Camp and exit through Wandare Gate—marking the end of the trek.
