Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel at 07:00 and drive past the majestic Mt. Kenya en route to Meru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Head out for an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and their predators. Dinner and overnight at Ikweta Safari Camp.
Wake up at 06:00 for tea and an early morning game drive in Meru. Return to camp for full breakfast, then depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Check in and have lunch at the Umoja Women's Camp — a unique camp owned and run by Samburu women. Head out for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at camp.
After breakfast, head west with a picnic lunch to Shaba Game Reserve — a dramatic volcanic landscape and extension of Samburu. Spend the full day exploring. Note: on very hot days, game drives run until 11:30 to avoid vehicle heat build-up. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Nanyuki with a picnic lunch. Ol Pejeta is home to the last female Southern white rhinos on earth, chimpanzees, and the Big Five. Game drives run until approximately 16:00. Drive into Nanyuki town for dinner and overnight at Sportsman's Arms Hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi via Nyeri. Arrive in Nairobi in the evening. End of safari.
