Itinerary
Pick-up from your Arusha hotel at 08:30 and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy morning, afternoon, and evening game drives including a spectacular sunset over the plains. Famous for massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
After breakfast, travel via the lush farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands before descending into the heart of the Serengeti's endless plains. Arrive at the wildlife-rich Seronera area — home to the Seronera River which draws abundant wildlife — in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Camp.
After breakfast, depart with en-route game drives towards Ngorongoro, stopping at the historic Olduvai Gorge — where anthropologists Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered key links in human evolution. Arrive for lunch at the campsite, then descend over 600m into the crater for a half-day wildlife safari. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
After breakfast, descend for a full morning game drive on the crater floor — your best chance to see the Big Five alongside buffalo, giraffe, and zebra against the dramatic Great Rift Wall. Drive onwards to Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight at campsite.
After breakfast, enjoy a full game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. The park is famed for its tree-climbing lions, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, baboons, flamingos, ostriches, and Egyptian geese — all set along the base of the Great Rift Valley with hot springs to the west. In the afternoon, visit a Maasai village to experience local culture and traditions. Drive back to Arusha in the evening for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
